The Delco Sports Hall of Fame is a museum dedicated to the history of sports in Delaware County, Pennsylvania. The museum was founded by the Delaware County Historical Society and opened on October 1, 1972.

Inductees
The Delaware Softball Hall of Fame inductees for 2019 were announced recently, and the list includes some truly outstanding players. Among the inductees are four former Major League Baseball players, two World Series champions, and a host of other talented individuals. This year’s class is sure to be one of the best ever, and we can’t wait to see them take their rightful place in the Hall of Fame.

The Delaware Softball Hall of Fame is pleased to announce its inaugural class of inductees. The honorees will be celebrated at a special induction ceremony and reception on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at the Doubletree by Hilton Wilmington-Brandywine in Wilmington, Delaware.

Board of Directors
The Board of Directors is the governing body of the Delaware Softball Hall of Fame. The Board is responsible for establishing the policies and procedures of the Hall of Fame, as well as selecting inductees each year. The Board is made up of representatives from across the state of Delaware, who are all softball enthusiasts.
Delaware Softball Hall of Fame:
The Delaware Softball Hall of Fame was established in 2006 to honor those who have made significant contributions to the sport of softball in the state of Delaware. Inductees are selected by a vote of the Hall’s Board of Directors. The Hall is located in Newark, Delaware, and features a museum with exhibits on the history and evolution of softball in Delaware.

The Delco Times is a daily newspaper serving Chester and Delaware counties in Pennsylvania. The paper has a long history dating back to 1876, when it was first published under the name Chester Times. In 2018, the Delco Times won multiple journalism awards from Pennsylvania NewsMedia Association, including first place for community service and second place for overall excellence.
