Georgia High School Coaches Hall of Fame
The Georgia High School Coaches Hall of Fame is a prestigious honor bestowed upon the state’s top coaches. Induction into the Hall of Fame is reserved for those who have made significant contributions to the high school coaching profession and have achieved success at the highest levels.
The Hall of Fame was founded in 1992 by the Georgia Athletic Coaches Association (GACA) to recognize and honor the accomplishments of the state’s top coaches. Since its inception, the Hall of Fame has inducted more than 200 members, including some of the most successful coaches in Georgia high school history.

-Eddie Martin, who coached basketball at various schools around Georgia for nearly 40 years and won four state championships;
-Travis Noland, who coached football at Valdosta High School for 22 years and won six state championships;

To be eligible for induction into the Hall of Fame, a coach must have been active in coaching for at least 10 years and must have retired from coaching or reached age 60. Candidates are nominated by their peers and then voted on by a committee of current and former coaches.

Evans is one of the most decorated swimmers in Olympic history, winning four gold medals and two silver medals over the course of her career. She still holds world records in the 800-meter freestyle (long course) and 400-meter individual medley (short course).
Dooley coached at the University of Georgia for 25 years, winning six SEC championships and one national championship. He also served as athletic director at UGA from 1979 to 2004. In all, Dooley won 20 conference championships and three national championships during his time as a head coach.
