Hammond Sports Hall Of Fame

The Hammond Sports Hall of Fame is a museum dedicated to honoring athletes, coaches and administrators. The hall was founded in 1978 by the Hammond Chamber of Commerce and has inducted over 1,000 members since its opening.

The hammond hall of fame 2022 is a new building that will be built in Hammond, Indiana. The construction for the building started in 2017 and it is expected to open sometime in 2022.

Raymond Cross- Hammond, Indiana

Raymond Cross is a Hammond, Indiana native who attended Spohn Middle School. After high school, he enlisted in the United States Army and served for four years. Cross is currently attending Ivy Tech Community College and working towards his degree in business administration.

Cross has always been interested in business and entrepreneurship. When he was just starting out his career, he worked for a few different companies including a local grocery store and a furniture store. He eventually started his own business, RC Business Consulting, which provides small businesses with marketing and management advice.

In his free time, Raymond enjoys spending time with his wife and two young children. He also enjoys playing basketball and golf.

Rich Nemcek- Spohn Middle School Hammond, IN

Rich Nemcek is a teacher at Spohn Middle School in Hammond, Indiana. He has been teaching for over 20 years and has a passion for helping his students succeed.

Rich is known for his dedication to his students and their success. He often goes above and beyond to help them reach their potential. He is also known for his sense of humor and ability to make learning fun.

Hammond Sports Hall of Fame

The Hammond Sports Hall of Fame was created to honor the outstanding athletes, coaches, and contributors who have made significant contributions to the world of sports in Hammond, Indiana. The Hall of Fame is located in the Spohn Middle School gymnasium and is open to the public during regular school hours.

Some of the inductees into the Hammond Sports Hall of Fame include Raymond Cross, Rich Nemcek, and Spohn Middle School. Raymond Cross was a member of the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame and coached at Hammond High School for 32 years. Rich Nemcek was a star pitcher for Hammond High School and went on to play minor league baseball for several years. Spohn Middle School has produced many outstanding athletes over the years, including several who have gone on to compete at the collegiate level.
