In 2020, the world was turned upside down by a pandemic known as Covid-19. This virus caused many businesses and organizations to close their doors temporarily or permanently. The future of the hall of fame was uncertain as we were forced to cancel our annual induction ceremony and fundraising events. Despite these challenges, we are pleased to report that the hall of fame is still going strong! We have adapted our operations to comply with social distancing guidelines and are now offering virtual induction ceremonies for our honorees. We are also planning several fundraising events for 2021 so that we can continue our mission of preserving the history of sports in Westchester County.
